Broken Screws- Put back together, as many as three (3) pieces, welded
and/or threaded. Bonds stronger than original undamaged sections. |

Cracked Flights- broken flights reconstructed: pits,
holes, groves and galling welded and polished. Material burning, stagnation
and degradation corrected. Welding material includes KORGUARD. |

Flight Thickness Restored- Increasing to original specifications on
request to ensure correct screw geometry and extend flight wear. Eroded
radii repaired. |

Tips Re-Seated- Screw end refaced for proper tip fit. |
|
Straightened- In many cases to .001” T.I.R. All rebuilding
and manufacturing operations between procedures to ensure minimal run
out. |

Keyways and Splines- Repaired and replaced. Ensures timing with twins.
Twists corrected. |
|
Cracked Root- Diameters repaired even in screw with cooling holes.
Screw pressure tested and dye checked and magnetic particle tested
prior to shipping. |

Screw and Tip Threads- Repaired. Retrace screw threads,
or sleeve and machine new threads, tip threads welded and re-machined.
Inside and outside registers repaired. |

Seal/Bearing Sections- rebuilt to avoid leaks and
return grooves re-machined or added. |

Thermoset Tips - Diameters repaired even in screw
with cooling holes. Screw pressure tested and dye checked and magnetic
particle tested prior to shipping. |

Mixing Pins- Installed or replaced. Flights
interrupted or reconnected. Blister and barrier rings rebuilt and incorporated
on screw. |

Cooling Holes- Drilled, obstructions removed. Cooling
rods repaired and coolant connections re-threaded.
